Hudson - 5/31/2016

Hudson ate jelly toast and a bite of canned prunes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate ham sandwich, bites of peas/corn, and a taste of mandarin oranges.  At breakfast Cooper watched Hudson with his jelly toast and said, "Bubba already snarfed it down!!"  Then later he said, "I snarfed it down like Bubba!  You know I love that jelly toast!!"  Kids are already trying to eat like Bubba!!  Ha!

In the picture below Hudson had started at one end of the mirror holding on to the bar and walked along until he got to the posters and got distracted by them.  Way to practice some steps Hudson!!

I LOVE this picture of Hudson giving loves to Avilene!  He was being so gentle and loving to her.  I'm super impressed!!  I was telling Lauralea what he was doing and he knew what we were talking about.  I said, "You love baby Avi don't you Hudson?"  He looked down at her and went back and did it some more.   It was so cute.

Hudson played with the dress-up clothes again; sitting on the floor with his head totally covered up! He loves doing that!  Then he was putting little cars in a bucket so he could shake it and make some noise.  Another favorite game!  Then he was playing at the book rack and started yelling.  I went over to find that he had one foot stuck in the book rack and he was trying to go in the opposite direction!

Hudson - 5/27/2016

Happy Happy First Birthday to Hudson!!  I'm enjoying watching this little fella grow, learn, explore, and interact with the environment at Little Treasures.  At this stage of his development I am primarily focused on the social-emotional.  I'm super proud of how well he's doing with the social aspect; especially how gentle he is with Baby Avi.  Awesome!  :)

For breakfast today Lauralea was here and she, with the help of the Cline girls, made us a breakfast of scrambled eggs, waffles, and hash browns.  Hudson essentially ate everything on his plate.  For lunch
he had a few bites of meat loaf, ate toast, couple bites of carrots, and ate apricots.

I took this first picture yesterday afternoon after Kenzie and Cooper had put some some egg-shaped shakers in Hudson's hood.  He started spinning in circles three or four times trying to see those shakers, which the kids thought was extremely hilarious.  They said he was "chasing his tail."  Poor Bubba!  Except, as you can see in the picture, he didn't really care.  He just went over to the window step and crawled up to have a look at the outside world!!  (And those shakers are still in his hood.)

Banging toys and making noise is one of Hudson's favorite activities!!  So with that in mind I took this picture of him at a favorite hangout!  He likes to grab the handle of the "barbecue" and pound the lid up and down!  Ha!  A few weeks ago he had his right hand inside and it was trapped by his left hand!!  :)

Birthday loves for Hudson from the Cline Kids!  (Riley on left, Cooper, and Kenzie.)  For those that may not know this, Kenzie comes here after school everyday and she loves Bubba.  No school today for Kenzie, Riley was hanging out this morning too, and they left for the Farm at noon!  After I took this picture Hudson was giving Riley big loves.  :)

Hudson - 5/26/2016

Hi Everyone and welcome to Hudson's World at Little Treasures!!  :)  I've got a few extra minutes today so I thought I'd get Hudson's Blog set up!!  I usually start the Blogs on Birthday #1.  The reason for that; with most infants there is not too much activity prior to their first birthday to Blog about!  (Today they were able to roll over twice!)  Well, with Hudson it's a bit different!!  He's been moving like a wild man for quite some time now so I could have easily started earlier!!  The Blog will generally be posted sometime between 12:30 - 2:45.  I will post what they've eaten so far in the day, mention two or three thi6gs about their day, and usually add one or two pictures.  The pictures tell the story so much better than I can!  Also, for those family members that have been reading Sophie's Blog you may occasionally see one or two identical paragraphs if Hudson and Sophie are playing together.  Anytime I can "copy & paste" it's a wonderful thing!!  That helps me get through the Blogs faster!!  Ha!

Hudson ate cinnamon toast and strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch he ate baked chicken, hash browns, and canned cherries.  He is doing so well drinking from his cup!!  I'm impressed!!

I took this first picture yesterday.  He was playing with the dress-up clothes and he obviously knew what to do with them!  :)  It's probably from watching Cousin Sophie!!  She spends a lot of time with the dress-up stuff!!  And he was playing with them again today!  Also today he was in the igloo hanging out with Cooper and Sophie.  Cooper was being rowdy in there and it was making Hudson laugh hard!!  The "older" boys (Cooper and Reid) know they can make him laugh and they love it!

Ok, here's an example of what I was meaning about copy & paste from Sophie's Blog! I took this next picture before breakfast when Sophie had retrieved her own bib and Bubba's bib as well.  Getting the bib around Hudson's neck was a MUCH bigger challenge as she chased him across the room!!
