Hudson seemed excited to be back in his Daycare routine and was happy to see everyone else too. When Reid walked in he said, "Hi Momma!!" Haha! Avi was super excited to see him too! She was doing this "scrunchy face" thing she does - squints her eyes shut with a big cheesy grin. Super cute. She's happy to see you Bubba!!
Reid was only here for a couple of hours this morning, but he watched me change Hudson's diaper. He noticed the bumps or blisters (whatever they're called) and he said, "I wouldn't touch him if I was you!" Oh, I roared! That just cracked me up! Well, Hudson is probably thankful that I'm his Caregiver and not you Reid!!
Hudson played with lots of toys and frequently "checked in" with me for a love. He looked at books, played with the legos, and tried to assist Reid and Sophie in building some blocks. That didn't go so well! Ha!
I had him sit at the table for Art Time. He watched Sophie do some finger painting, but he just watched and wasn't about to stick his hands in it! (Which is just fine, quite typical, and age-appropriate.) Part of that hesitation could simply have been because I sat him at the table for the first time. I like the 2nd picture here where Sophie is showing him her hands.
