Hudson ate bran cereal and a couple of raisins for breakfast. For lunch: From his chicken salad he ate chicken, olives, half of tomatoes, bite of cucumber. He ate avocado and two servings of pears. He ate pita bread too. He was waiting for his lunch plate and asked, "Where's my meal?" I've heard lots of kids say, "Where's my food?!?" But not, "Where's my meal?" Haha! Oh Bubba.
I had an awesome time in Louisiana with my precious daughter and her husband. (He's a great guy too!!) I just have to include a couple pictures from my trip - I'm limiting it to just two pictures, ha! So here are a couple that are quite different from what we see in Montana and they typify the State of Louisiana!! 1st picture: Love these boats and I'm going on a ride up some bayous on my next trip there! 2nd picture: My daughter only lives about 40 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and any houses right on the Gulf waters are built high!!
Hudson went over and sat by Baby Linnea - or as he still calls her "Ba-nay." He studied her and said, "She has a tiny nose." More observations and questions! "How did Ba-nay get here?" Her Dad. "What's his name?" So I asked him if he remembered; "Hmm...Nic?" That's very close! Eric. (Hudson has only met Eric once or twice so I was impressed by his guess.) He continued to look at the Baby and said, "She looked with her eyes and she looked at me." :) In this next picture I turned around and these two had moved the yellow bench over here and sat down to read some books! Shortly after I took the picture Hudson was reading/singing "Baby Beluga" to Avi. She knows it too of course, but she was just listening to him. That was cute. We had so much fun just hanging out, reading books, and enjoying being together again!
I was sitting on the couch and Hudson and I were playing and he kept sticking his head between my ankles and I'd squeeze them and then ask; Do you know what this is? "No." It's a rat trap and I caught a rat! (We've played that silly game for a long time.) Later, he had one of the dolls squeezed between his knees and I heard him say, "Got my baby in a rat trap." LOL! Yes, it was a proud moment! Good job Bubba!
