Hudson - 12/29/2017

Hudson ate bites of oatmeal and apple slices for breakfast.  For lunch he ate everything: hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes.  He ate dinner roll and apricots.

The kids were at the window waving bye to Momma Maddy this morning and this time it was Avi who was saying, "Bye Mommy, bye Mommy."  Ahhh...she's learned well Bubba!  Of course he was saying, "That's my Mommy!"

First I want to remind everyone that Little Treasures will be closed Monday, New Years Day and back open on Tuesday.  Also, I'll email your January invoices this weekend.  Happy New Year to all of Hudson's Family and whoever reads his Blogs.  :)

I was asking Hudson what he, Tutu, and Pappy had been doing this week.  He said, "I climbed up her!"  So I'm thinking that's nice, but there has to be more!  Ha!  I asked the same question a few minutes later and he said, "I climbed up her!  I already told you."  LOL  I roared!

We read lots of books, watched the snow fall at the window, sang songs, and practiced some sign language.  In the picture below: All the kids were putting legos flowers on their fingers.  They do this frequently and I think Nora was the first one to get it going this morning.  Their little fingers fit the holes in the legos perfectly!  One size fits all!  Haha!  As you can see in the last picture Hudson also played with the legos and I love it when he gets very involved in his building.  He's working real hard and if you look close his tongue is partially out.  :)

Hudson - 12/27/2017

Hudson ate half of his whole wheat toast and ate mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate two servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate squash, and some fruit salad.  We'd barely started breakfast when Hudson said (with a silly grin), "Is Daycare over yet?"  I said, "Yes. Bye."  He said, "Not it's not!  I'm not leaving yet!"  :)

I asked him; "What did Tutu get you for Christmas?"  He said, "Nothing." Hahahaha!!   Oh, I'm so sorry Hudson.  I'll have a word with her!  That made me laugh!

He went to use the bathroom before Lauralea left and when she saw him sitting there she asked; "Are you going poop?"  Hudson said, "My tummy has to go poop, of course."  Ha!  (But he didn't go poop Of course!)

Hudson and Nora were looking out the window and He started flipping (gently) her ponytail.  He asked, "Do you want me to fix your pony?"  Haha!  Right Bubba!  Cracked me up and Nora looked at him like he was cracked!  :)

I took this first picture when Hudson was talking to Baby Linnea.  (By the way, she has a brother about the same age as Hudson.)  I told Hudson to "ask Linnea what Santa brought her."  Hudson said, "She can't talk."  Shortly after that she was making some cute sounds and he said, "Baby Ba-nay-a is talking to me!!"  :)

Here's a picture of Hudson piling doll blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals on the steps going up to the balance beam.  Hmmm...this is an example of piling up lots of toys and then not wanting anyone else to touch them.  It worked fine this morning because everyone was engaged in their own play at this moment!!  :)

Hudson - 12/21/2017

Hudson ate two servings of waffle and ate fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch he ate shepherds pie with hamburger, green beans, carrots, and potatoes.  He ate whole grain tortillas and ate one cherry.

I want to wish all of Bubba's family a Merry Christmas!  He's a wonderful little boy, I love him a ton, his language is immensely entertaining, and I'm thankful to be a part of his life and your life.!  :)  Little Treasures is closed Friday - Monday. The next Blog will be on Tuesday the 26th.

I took this first picture of Hudson and Avilene yesterday afternoon.  They (well mostly Bubba) had put LOTS of toys in the igloo.  You can't really see it in the picture, but there are doll blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, and topped off with lots of building blocks.  They did pretty good just managing to crawl in there.

Here's the story behind the picture: We'd been reading some Christmas books and the kitchen timer signaled me to turn on the oven.  When I came back out Hudson said, "We are being so patient!"  And they were!!  It was so cute and that's when I moved them closer together to get a group picture.  And that was when Nora decided to cut and run!  She wanted no part of a group picture, but she'd been patiently waiting as well until that point!!

We did some dot painting today.  Hudson has been asking for dot painting all week so today we dot painted on snowmen and Christmas stockings.  If you look closely at the table you can see that dot painting activity does lots of splattering.  They all love it and it's easy to clean up!

Hudson - 12/20/2017

Hudson ate french toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch he ate half of salmon loaf, ate dinner roll, squash, and tropical fruit.

I already told Daddy Colin this story, but I'm gonna post it anyhow.  One of our songs is "Today is Monday."  "Monday green beans, all you hungry children come and eat it up."  Then Tuesday is spaghetti, Wednesday soup, Thursday roast beef, Friday fresh fish, Saturday chicken, and Sunday ice cream.  I will sing the Day of the week, then pause, and let the kids try to get the right food.  Yesterday I said, "Today is Wednesday, Wednesday ..(pause).."  And Hudson said, "Mushrooms!"  Haha!  Cracked me up because none of the days are "mushrooms."

Here are some pictures - the first two are from yesterday afternoon.  Hudson was laying beside "Baby Ba-nay-a" which is what he still calls her!  In the 2nd picture they were reading and Avi was wearing that frog suit again.  Well at least she has her arms in the suit, but not her legs.  And this morning they were reading again after we'd just finished Story Time.  You can never read too many books!!  They were looking at a book titled "I Spy."  I have some in almost every toy set and this one is a Christmas book.  You look at an object on one page and find that object on the opposite page.  So Hudson was pointing at the airplane and then said, "Can you find?"  Hudson was pointing at the airplane and then said, "Can you find?"  Apparently Atley didn't point at what he wanted her to because he took her hand and was helping her find it.

In the last picture Hudson had put all the doll blankets across the top of the big gate and then he said "the Baby hiding!"  She's sitting in a saucer on the back side of the wall of blankets.  Silly kids.

Hudson - 12/19/2017

Hudson ate most of toasted whole wheat english muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate pork chops, whole wheat toast, several bites of roasted vegetables (sweet potatoes, potatoes, beets), and two servings of applesauce.

I forgot to remind Hudson to wave at Daddy so I asked him if he remembered.  Hudson said, "No.  I can't figure out where he went!"  LOL

While Hudson was pushing Nora in the swivel/rocker chair he fell down and Nora laughed hard!  Hudson said, "She laughed when I fell and I got back up."  Then he started falling on purpose and Nora was laughing every time!

Hudson was involved in some kind of dramatic play - I couldn't quite hear what he was saying.  But then he made an announcement:  "Hey guys!  I have to go to a meeting with Nora Hansen!"  :)  Well, that could definitely happen some day!

I had to take this next picture so you can see what Hudson was looking at.  It was kind of dark in the kitchen and he spotted this pineapple on top of the refrigerator.  Hudson said, "Hey Gary!  What's that hair poking up!?!"  Oh man, I was laughing so hard I about collapsed!!  :)

Here are a couple pictures from this morning's activities.  Hudson likes to assemble LOTS of toys in one area.  He has four of the animal toys hooked together and he has a pile of the stuffed animals in the bottom of the picture.  In the last picture he was pretending that some monsters were after he and Avilene.  He kept telling her; "Listen to my words.  Come back in here!"  Avilene is not real fond of being covered up and staying in one spot for more than 5 seconds so she was doing good just to cooperate for that long!!  :)

Hudson - 12/18/2017

Hudson ate half of chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate half of ground beef, ate whole wheat hamburger bun, no lettuce and tomatoes, ate half of avocado serving, and ate his oranges.

During story time I showed them a picture and asked, "Why is the dinosaur crying?"  He studied the picture and answered, "Because his balloon popped."  Yup!  You got it buddy!  That's an exceptional job of evaluating the situation and coming up with a pretty logical answer.  Logic is a rare commodity in my age group.  By the time he starts developing abstract thinking (I'm just guessing here, but around 7 - 8 years of age) and more logic you all are in trouble!!  Sharp boy!

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids had lots of fun exploring all the toys.  Like I've mentioned many times we rarely do anything extra (except read lots of the new books) on toy exchange Monday!  Here are a couple pictures of Hudson playing with the toys - masks and doll blankets.

Here's a note from Atley and Avi's Blogs that you might find interesting!  Ha!  Atley was playing on one side of the room with Nora.  Avi and Hudson were playing on the other side of the room.  The two groups were out-of-sight of each other.  Atley heard Avi starting to cry and she IMMEDIATELY yelled, "BUBBA!!" (With a very accusatory tone!)  And went running over to check it out!  She was being protective of her friend Avi!    Five minutes later it was a repeat scenario.  I'd never heard or seen Atley do that before.  Super cute!  (By the way, Atley was right both times!!  Bubba!!  Be gentle to your friend Avi!!)

In these last two pictures Hudson was picking up LOTS of the toys and putting them on the shelf and also making a stack on the floor.  These pictures don't really do justice to how many toys he had in the top toy shelf!  That shelf goes back several inches and it's packed!  He said he was "cleaning up for the parade!"  Ha!  I let him do this for a long time, but eventually he had to accept the fact that the toys are for everyone to enjoy and play with!!  Ha!

Hudson - 12/15/2017

Hudson ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch he ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and two servings of applesauce.

Hudson was playing with a dress-up hat and said, "Gary, here's your big farmer hat!"  Ha!
I rarely wear a long sleeve shirt - usually just t-shirts.  Today I put on a long sleeve shirt and Hudson looked at me this morning and said, "Why do you have that coat on?"  Haha!

After lunch I was feeding Baby Linnea and Hudson always thinks that's a good time to go potty.  I told him I thought he could probably hold it and he said, "Can Avi take me to the potty?"  LOL!  Oh sure!  That would probably work just fine!!

The first two pictures.  Baby Linnea was in her saucer and I had her sitting just on the other side of the big gate.  Hudson talked to her and put stuffed animals on her saucer for awhile and then he started piling them in front of the gate; along with blankets, blocks, and pillows.  He must have planned on building a big pile because he said, "Ba-nay-a's gonna hide!"  Ha!  He worked hard here for at least 20 minutes or more.

In this last picture Hudson was building with the legos and Nora was calmly setting one or two legos on the table.  He said, "Thank you Nora."  Then Atley showed up and started madly pitching them up there and (when I took he picture) Hudson was saying, "No, I don't need those, no I don't need these!"  :)  Atley was definitely trying to speed up the assembly line!!

Hudson - 12/14/2017

Hudson ate whole wheat bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate hamburger pizza with whole wheat crust, tomato sauce, olives, peppers, mushrooms, and pineapple. Plus he ate two servings of pineapple on the side.

At the breakfast table when everyone was just about done eating Avilene started whipping her head side-to-side really fast and furious - just being a goof and showing-off!  Nora and Atley were laughing hard of course and started doing the same thing, squealing louder every passing second!  I told Avi, "Hold your head still please."  Hudson never misses an opportunity to add his two cents worth, and he followed with this; "Or your ponytail will fall out!"  haha!  (The fact that Avi didn't have a ponytail was apparently irrelevant!)

I was telling Lauralea a story just before she left about Avi and I said, "She made me roar!"  (meaning, she made me laugh of course!) Well Hudson, the ever-present eavesdropper was listening and said, "You're not a lion!"  Haha!  Now that made me roar as well!!  What a kid!  :)

Here's a picture of Hudson looking at my latest Little Treasure!!  :)  Daddy Colin has the cutest story about a discussion he and Hudson were having about Gary's "Little Treasures."  Of course Hudson is thinking about some kind of "treasure," whatever that might look like to him!!  So he asked me this morning, "where are little treasures?"  Haha!  Also, he asked; "Can I see your little treasures and big treasure?"  Haha!  (He wants me to come clean with my whole stash!!)  I asked him, "Where should I keep my little treasures?" He said, "In a bucket."  Haha!  So I said, "Come here Hudson and I'll show you a little treasure." (Baby Linnea was on my lap.)  And Hudson was pretty cool with that and responded positively.

Hudson - 12/13/2017

Hudson ate two servings of whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate most of pork roast, ate whole grain tortillas, sweet potatoes, potatoes, and ate mixed fruit.  After he was done with breakfast he asked me; "Now can I go play with my friends?!?"  Haha!  (The emphasis was on NOW - like I'd been holding him hostage!  Ha!)  Also at breakfast I had to ask Hudson about seeing Santa last night.  He said, "I was a little bit scared, but not too much."  :)  That video was so cute!!

I took this first picture yesterday when Bubba was being a silly Bubba.  I asked him to try getting his underwear and pants on by himself and he got the underwear on just fine.  Good job Hudson.  And then he must have forgotten how to put on his pants.  :)  Pretty cute!

We were reading a special book that we've not read for 3 weeks or more.  What's this book about?  Hudson said, "I don't know.  I don't have an idea."  I thought that was so cute.  Avi said, "Lady swallowed a crab."  Wow!  You nailed it Avi.  That is one of the lines in the song.  (To the tune of "There was an old woman who swallowed a fly.")

I took the next picture of the kids waiting at the gate with their paint shirts on!  Come on Gary!  We're ready!  Just take the picture!!  Haha!  I frequently try different ways to set up art that will help it flow smoothly.  With this age group the less time they have to sit and do nothing, the better.  So this time I had the paper, paint, and brushes all ready to go when they went to table.  (You can see Hudson is intently studying the set up!)  The last picture shows the kids busy at work after they set down!

Hudson - 12/12/2017

Hudson ate two servings of toasted whole wheat english muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate most of chicken with stir fry vegetables, bite of brown rice, and ate oranges.  As I've mentioned many times I always ask the kids; "What did you do last night?"  Hudson answered the question with a question; "Was I a turkey last night?"  Hahaha!!  I certainly don't know, but tell me what you did and I'll make an honest evaluation!  :)

The first thing Hudson asked me this morning; "Are we having a visitor today?"  He sure enjoyed Reid yesterday!  :)  Then Atley and Hudson were playing a two year old's version of "chase" and it's mostly just running around the room together and laughing and squealing.

Here's an "activity" that happens at least once a week!  (And today.)  I have several gold crowns and Hudson said, "I wanna see your golden teeth."  (That came from Reid and Cooper.)  Then Atley, Nora, and the others all want to look too of course.  Those crowns have been worth every penny just for the entertainment value!!  :)

We read lots of books and colored coffee filters at art time.  Speaking of books we were reading Christmas stories and I asked, "Who is this?" pointing to the jolly fellow on the cover.  Hudson and Avi both said, "Santa."  I asked, "What do they call him in this book?"  Hudson said, "Nick."  Avi said, "Nicholas."  Very good!  "Jolly ole saint Nicholas."  It's a fun little tune.  Then at art time Hudson had orange marks around his mouth and said, "my chapstick."  :)

I took this picture when Hudson and Atley were playing with the baby saucer this morning.  I got it out of storage for Linnea and of course everyone thinks it a new toy to play with.  Atley is obsessed with it!!  The last picture: Hudson told Lauralea; "I'm gonna jump after I'm done doing laundry."

Hudson - 12/11/2017

Hudson ate most of breakfast: cheerios and banana.  For lunch he ate ground beef, two servings of whole grain pita bread, no tomatoes, ate olives, two servings of avocados, and bites of watermelon.  Well we have a visitor today; Reid is here all day and we are having a blast.  (At least I've been thoroughly entertained!!)  For example; here's a note from breakfast, not about Hudson, but I think you'll like it.  At the breakfast table Reid was watching Nora eat her cheerios and said, "OH MY GOSH!!  Look how much she put in her mouth at once!!"  LOL!  SO funny!  (It actually is kind of impressive!)  Speaking of funny; I remembered that cheerios did not settle well in Reid's tummy so I asked; "Do cheerios still give you stinky burps?"  He said, "Yes, rotten egg burps; but if you have chocolate ones?!"  LOL!  Haha!  I roared!  Nope, fresh out of those, but nice try!  :)

Hudson was pretty enthralled by having the Reido back and he watched and played with Reid all morning.  In the first picture Hudson laughed at Reid playing with the blocks and Reid said, "Is this funny Bubba?!  You wanna laugh again!?!"  So Reid kept doing the same thing over and over until it wasn't funny and moved on to a new trick!!  :)

The kids were at the window waving at Daddy Ryan and Bubba is not about to forget Ryan's previous indiscretions of "drive-byes" without waving!  He said, "He waved at us that time!!"  (somewhat surprised tone!)  Ha!  Then Hudson asked, "Did you see me jump really high on the trampoline!?!"  Yes I did!  It really was fun watching all the kids on Saturday at Atley's Birthday Party!  Hudson asked, "Did you see me jump really high in the ball pit!?!"  :)  Yes!

The last 2 pictures - Reid was teaching Hudson the fine art of bear wrestling!  You can only see the big panda bear in the picture, but he got out both big bears and gave those bears quite a beating much to Hudson's delight!!

Hudson - 12/8/2017

Hudson ate a few bites of breakfast:  brown rice and raisins.  For lunch he ate everything; salmon, whole wheat dinner roll, corn, and two servings of mangoes.

Hudson saw Lauralea brushing her teeth and told her a story that went something like this; "my toothbrush got moldy.....caterpillar tried to climb on it.......and Mom had to throw it away."  Nice story Bubba.

Here are some pictures from this morning's activities: He was building a wall with the blocks and said, "No one can get through here."  In the second picture he'd changed up his building plans a bit and he said, "I'm hiding from everyone."  :)

Hudson was asking Avi (over and over) to pile the stuffed animals on top of his head.  He loves to be buried under the stuffed animals, blankets, pillows, dress-up clothes, and anything soft.  Avi, on the other hand, is not about to lay still and let him do that to her!  :)

All the kids were pretty sure I got the baby saucer down for everyone except the baby!  Haha!  Hudson said, "I want to sit in it."  This may not be the most flattering picture of baby Linnea, but she was in the middle of sneezing!  :)   Can't delete that!!

Thursday, December 7, 2017

Hudson - 12/7/2017

Hudson ate half of his whole wheat english muffin and a bite of orange for breakfast.  I asked, "Hudson, did you have a bite of oranges?"  He said, "I did and it was delicious."  Haha!  (I guess not delicious enough to eat more than one bite though!!)  For lunch he ate everything: ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and two servings of applesauce.  At the lunch table he said, "I hear a creaking sound."  You do?  A creaking sound?!?  "And it's coming from the basement."  LOL!!  Wow.  Good ears.

Apparently Hudson heard me talking to Baby Linnea's Mom this week when I told her that Linnea was definitely "finding her voice."  She's been making lots of cute little sounds.  This morning Hudson said, "She's trying to find her voice."  Surprised me when he said that!  Then he said, "She likes making noises."  If Hudson hears it, he remembers it!!  And repeats it!!  :)

Hudson gave Lauralea a morning tip before she left: "This morning it's too cold to go camping."  Haha!  Thank you Hudson.  I guess we'll cancel those December camp-out plans!  :)

These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Hudson was "teaching" Nora  her colors!  (He is in the lower right part of the picture in case you missed him!)  Of course it might not hurt to learn all your colors first before you start teaching!  Yes, I know I might be red-green color blind, but at least I can read the labels on the color poster!!  haha!!   2nd Picture: Kenzie and Riley had set up an 'elaborate' color testing experiment and they reported that Hudson is making progress!  Last picture: Hudson and Avi were "discussing" the different animals in this poster!

Hudson - 12/6/2017

Hudson ate french toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch he ate paleo stew with hamburger, carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, and broccoli.  He ate saltines and two servings of tropical fruit too.  During Lunch Hudson was saying, "Nora is Ba-nay-a!  Hi Banaya, hi Banaya!"  What a goof!  That's what he has chosen to call Baby La-nay-a!  Nora just looked at him like what are you talking about!?!  :)

Hudson was talking about Avilene and Atley.  He said, "I mixed Avi and Atley."  You mixed up their names?  "Yea, I called Atley, Avi.  Isn't that amazing?"  Haha!  Your language is what is amazing to me Bubba!  Later he said, "Gary, I wanna read some beets."  What, beets!?!  "Yea, I wanna read some beets."  You're a goof Bubba!  So then he said, "I wanna read some peas."  Haha!  Good job of staying in the vegetable family little goof!

He was watching me put in my hearing aids and asked, "Are you putting your hearing aids in your ears?"  Yup, that's what I"m doing.  He continued, "So you can hear yelling at breakfast?"  Haha!  What?  Who yells at breakfast?  Hudson said, "Atley!!"  Hahaha!!  Well she is quite loud, but I wouldn't usually call it yelling!  :)

Here are two pictures from this morning's activities.  We did some dot painting at art time.  Then  Hudson was calling the chair their "car" again.  He told Avi, "Now we're home Avi."  :)

Tuesday, December 5, 2017

Hudson - 12/5/2017

Hudson ate most of his breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch he ate baked chicken, two servings of whole grain tortillas, bite of cabbage salad mix, and two servings of cinnamon baked apples.

Here are some Hudsonisms from this morning:  (His quotes are in parenthesis.)
"Gary, can you roll my sleeves up?"  I can.  "Can or can't?"  Can.  :)
"The sun is in my eyes.  Will you close the curtains?"  Haha!  First, it's overcast and no sun today, secondly that window faces west and this was before 9:00 am!  :)
Remember our discussion about shoes last week?  This was a new shoe discussion yesterday afternoon; "What are those?" He was pointing at my old Clogs I was wearing.  Slippers.  "Where'd you get them?"  At the Clog Store.  Ha!  Where'd you get your slippers?  "At Apple.com."  Hahahahaha!!

Hudson likes making up some dramatic play (Cousins - Sophie and Nora are good teachers) and involving Avi in it of course.  She usually plays along and cooperates and adds her part as well.  This morning Hudson was in the chair and wanting Avi to join him.  He said, "Come in the car Avi! Come in the car!"  Avi said, "That's the chair."  Haha!  I've decided she's a realist.  :)

This first picture:  Hudson and Nora were sitting on the couch waiting for Story Time.  Nora was doing some "head banging" back-n-forth against the back of the couch.  The static electricity had her fine hair sticking out in all directions and that had Hudson's attention!  Ha!

I took this last picture when we were playing with the camera and taking some selfies.  The kids were getting a kick out of looking at themselves on the camera screen.  We sang songs, read lots of books (including lots of Christmas books), and colored Christmas trees with markers at Art time.

Monday, December 4, 2017

Hudson - 12/4/2017

Hudson ate half of his breakfast:  kix cereal and mixed fruit.  For lunch he ate ground turkey, whole wheat bun, no lettuce, tomatoes, and no cherries.

I think you'll enjoy these first two pictures from Friday afternoon.  Kenzie and Riley thought it was SO funny when they were sitting in the chair and Avi and Atley started pushing them around and around.  (It's usually the big girls pushing the little ones.)  They said, "Take a picture of the little ones pushing us!!"  They were so excited!  They hoisted up Hudson so he could enjoy the ride too!  (Atley and Avi were pushing pretty fast I might add!!)  I think the older girls were amazed and impressed that the young ones could do that!!  Then in the following picture Kenzie and Riley were arranging the kids on the chair and Kenzie was taking the pictures.  They were all cooperating amazingly well with the "older" girls.  Well maybe Nora was pondering this thought; "what happened to my exclusive rights to this chair!?"  :)  Atley was totally fine with Hudson sitting on her lap and Avi liked Nora sitting on her lap!

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and Hudson was busy checking out everything all morning!  In the next picture Hudson was playing with one of the two new pillows I got this weekend as well.  It's a texture thing (feels like fish scales to me- the scales change color when you push them the opposite direction) and he was loving it.  He said, "When I do this it makes lines!"  Not too much to say about the last picture - just totally precious, right!?!

Hudson - 12/1/2017

Hudson ate oatmeal and applesauce for breakfast.  For lunch he ate hamburger stew, with meat, carrots, green beans, and potatoes.  He ate dinner roll and two servings of apricots.  Hudson was already at the breakfast table when Daddy Andy was going out the door and Bubba looked at Avi and said, "Bye Daddy, bye Daddy!"  Those two know how to push each other's buttons!  And it's pretty much 50/50 who is the instigator!!

Also at the breakfast table Hudson asked Avi; "What'd you do last night?"  She said, "Ride on carousel!"  (of course)  Hudson said, "And play soccer?"  Avi said, "Yes, play soccer."  LOL!  I roared!  It was so cute and I love it!

Hudson was pretty thrilled when he heard Atley say, "Bubba."  And she does say it real clear!  "She can talk!!"  That's awesome; what'd she say?  "Bubba!  She said my name!!"  :)

Here are some pictures from this morning's activities.  This seems like a stage some kids go through!! They have to get all the toys of a particular sort and put them in a pile!  In the first picture it's stuffed animals!  I always call it "stockpiling" the toys!  Then as you can imagine, Hudson gets super agitated when someone takes a toy off of his pile!!  I told him to stockpile toys at home; but it doesn't work at Daycare.  So we'll see.  :)  Avi had grabbed a toy off his pile and was running for her life with Bubba in hot pursuit!  :)

Hudson announced; "It's night night time everyone!  Lay down on your pillows!"  My first thought; This won't fly!  But it worked and everyone played along.  In the next picture Hudson was tucking in Avi and saying, "Good night sweetie."  Atley followed suit and Nora lay down with her head on a pillow as well, but Hudson was goofing around and she left before he put a blanket on her.  :)  In the last picture Hudson and Avi were playing a cute game of hide-n-seek with rules modified to their own liking!  It sounded like this; "I'm hiding!"  "Do you want me to count?"  "No."  "Well I want to."  "Go back in the igloo."  "You found me!"  "I'm gonna find you now."  "I'm gonna count again."
