Hudson - 7/3/2018

Hudson ate whole wheat english muffin and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate most of chicken with stir fry vegetables, half of brown rice and ate oranges.

I said something about "Humpty Dumpty" and Hudson asked; "What kind of animal is that?"  Ha! So  I said, "Well, he kind of looks like a big chicken egg to me!"  Hudson said, "Noooooo!"  :)  Then Linnea was yelling and Hudson said, "Maybe you could put that back in her mouth."  (Shortly before I'd taken Linnea's binkie.)  :)  I agree, that's a good plan.

When the kids were waving at parents this morning they spotted the moon.  By the time the last parent went by everyone (it originated with Nora and Atley) was saying, "my moon, my moon, my moon!"  Ha!  Really!?!  We're gonna argue about ownership of the moon!?!  Haha!

Hudson and Nora were having fun talking to Svea shortly after she arrived.  One of the things I like most about this picture is how Nora is getting pleasure watching Hudson talk to Svea too!  She frequently yells; "My baby, my baby, my baby!"

Lauralea and I had a very fun and relaxing vacation with lots of sightseeing, just being tourists, reading by the ocean, lots of hikes on lots of trails (Lauralea joined me if the trail was in the "easy" category), going places we'd never been, etc.  Here are a couple pictures.  It was so relaxing and amazingly beautiful. There's something about walking through those magnificent redwood (The coastal redwoods are the tallest living thing on earth.) trees that's hard to describe.
