Hudson - 8/18/2016

Hudson ate toasted sandwich thins and a few bites of cantaloupe for breakfast.  For lunch he ate turkey slices, dinner roll, green beans, and mangoes.  Before breakfast he went right over to the bib rack to get his bib.  Sophie always grabs his bib for him and frequently puts it on him, so I'd never seen him try to get it himself.   :)

Hudson was trying to put something in my hand and I was writing down notes and not paying much attention to what he had.  Here's what I was thinking:  Was he just pretending to give me something?  Maybe he was trying to give me "5" or give me "knucks?"  Nope, when I actually looked it was pieces of a dead fly.  Haha!!

I took these first pictures yesterday afternoon.  Hudson was VERY focused on his feet for the longest time  - 5 minutes is a LONG time for this age group!  He was intently studying his foot and I'm watching and thinking maybe a "Podiatrist?"  :)

This picture was also taken yesterday afternoon and this age group loves doing this with the shape buckets.  He was experimenting with the echoing sounds, occasionally looking up at me, and grinning all over.

Sophie was playing with the dress-up clothes and Hudson joined her.  He was trying to get some shirts on and then stuck one on his head similar to what she was doing.  He took off across the room and Sophie was sure his shirt needed some adjustments.
