We have a full house today - six children are here. Kenzie and Riley will also join us after school at 2:30. (My license has a provision called "overlap" which allows for after-school children for 2 hours per day.) I actually got a picture with 5 out of the 6 children that I'm posting below! They're rarely all that close playing together to get a picture. And then they're moving so fast even then it's not easy! Baby Nora was napping and she's the only one not in the picture.
Jamie stopped in to give Cooper a love after getting Riley and Kenzie off to their first day at school. Hudson stood at the gate blowing her kisses and also waved bye. It was so cute. That was the first time I've seen him do goodby kisses on his own initiative.
Hudson stumbled and bonked his head on my shin, then looked at me like I caused him the pain he was feeling. Ha! Sorry Hudson. I was reading books to Cooper, Reid, and Sophie and didn't see you coming Bubba! If he'd continued sitting on my lap for story time we'd have avoided that owie!!
I tried to get a picture of Hudson close to Baby Nora, but this was about as good as I could do. As you can see in the picture Sophie has laid claim to the closest spot beside the Baby! She was so excited that she got to be with the Baby today. Hudson was more interested in the toys, but I think he noticed the new Baby was here again! Ha!
