Hudson had a few bites of breakfast: oatmeal and dried cranberries. For lunch he ate some tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, bites of green beans, and a large serving of applesauce.
Well I haven't commented for a day or two about Hudson's language skills so it's about time!! I love how he experiments with words, makes up stories, and has fun with language. Very very cool!! This morning I was looking out the window and he asked me if I was "watching for Kenzie and Riley?" I said, "No, but they'll be coming after they are done with school today." The phrase, "They'll be coming" triggered the book/song that we frequently read and sing; "She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes." Hudson started saying, "Kenzie and Riley be riding six white horses when they come..." Haha! Avilene, on the other hand wasn't going with that connection! She started saying, "Noooo, nooooo!" :)
Here are a couple of pictures from Hudson's morning at Little Treasures. In the first picture he was playing with the slides and the little cars. In the 2nd picture Atley and Nora were simply moving the legos pieces from the legos drawer to a pile on the floor! Lots of noise and lots of fun! Finally Hudson had to come and inspect; "what are you doing!?!" :)
Then in the last picture we made a tent with a big blanket. It's amazing how much fun you can have with a blanket! There were three kids (Atley, Avi, and Hudson) in the tent when I took this picture, but Nora wasn't about to get in with them! It did sound kind of rowdy! :) She was having fun lifting the blanket, watching them, and giggling!!
