Hudson ate most of kix cereal and most of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch he ate most of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, and potatoes. He also ate apricots and half of dinner roll. The kids didn't seem to notice or care that the baked apples at breakfast were loaded with cinnamon. Kenzie and Riley helped Lauralea fix them yesterday and well...that's just what happened! :) Then at Lunch Hudson asked me; "What'd you do today Gary?" "Uhhh, I got out of bed, shave, coffee, treadmill, and more." Giving him LOTS of details - thinking maybe he'd get bored!! Haha! Except I knew better than that! "Then what'd you do?" More details. "Then what'd you do?" More details. And he was really listening! So cute. "And we're going to a movie tonight?" "What movie?" I didn't tell him! "Death Wish" with Bruce Willis! Haha!!
The lady that monitors the Food Program was here today checking my charts, freezer temp, refrigerator temp, checking the menus, and more. The kids generally enjoy someone coming, but it can be stressful for kids with certain temperaments too. (Think Nora.) :) Atley, on the other hand is friendly to everyone and comfortable with all!! Atley and Hudson were at the gate jabbering to her like she was their best buddy so that was good. Ha!
Hudson has been working hard to do the "I Love You" sign and he's got it. That is not easy for this age group to make their fingers do some of the signs!! (Look close and you'll see 3 fingers extended. Ok, 2 fingers and a thumb.)
Here's another group picture of the kids looking in the crib at Baby Linnea when we went to get her from her morning nap. I tried to get a picture of all four looking into the crib, but that never worked and I took several pictures! Haha!! (Three out of four looking in the crib is still pretty good!!) All the toys and stuff around the room are too interesting to ignore!! The last picture was obviously taken during art time and they were having fun doing some dot painting. Avilene was being somewhat rowdy when I took the picture (waving the dot painter above her head) and she had Hudson's attention as well.
