Hudson ate whole wheat english muffin and a bite of dried plums for breakfast. He ate stir fry vegetables with chicken, bites of brown rice, and two servings of oranges.
Avi and Hudson were chanting; "We found something in the sky Gary, we found something in the sky!!" What!?! I'm thinking maybe UFO!! Nope, all the children were lined up at the window looking at a jet trail across the sky. :)
Here is a picture of the "coupons" (as I call them) or "prizes" (as Kenzie and Riley call them) or "surprises" (as Hudson calls them) that the girls made for Hudson during one of the "tests" they did for him yesterday! So cute. It's obviously a privilege to spend time with them! The coupon on the right is good for one snuggle time with Kenzie. :)
Linnea found her way into the igloo this morning and Hudson was waiting for her. So cute!! Here is some of Hudson's jabbering (mostly) about Linnea this morning: "Hey Gary! How about we get Linnea some of her baby toys?" (They're on the top shelf.) "Hey Gary! Linnea spit up!!" "Hey Gary! I think the zipper (on her jacket) is bugging her." "Hey Gary! She hasn't spit up yet!!" (After I'd fed her.) About that time the song "Pop goes the weasel" starts playing. "Hey Gary! That's in our sing-a-long book!" "Hey Gary!"......"Hey Gary!"......"Hey Gary!" :)
This next picture comes out of one of our special books that we occasionally read at Story Time. Every time we read it the kids say, "That's you Gary. That looks like you Gary." Haha! Ok, I'm fine with that; I can see the resemblance. Ha! Anyhow, today Avi said, "What are you holding Gary?" That is a pitchfork! Hudson asked, "What do you use it for?" To throw hay to my animals. Isn't that the cutest. I loved the dialogue!!
