Hudson - 3/2/2017

So this was a new breakfast - paleo breakfast bread - and Avi and Hudson ate all of their serving.  Well done kids!!  Eggs, cauliflower, and spinach!  Yum!  Ha!  Actually it is pretty tasty.  Lauralea blended it together and then baked it.  For lunch Hudson ate chicken stir fry, brown rice, and mandarin oranges.

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon when Hudson went over and laid his head in Baby Nora's lap.  He loves his Baby Nora.  This picture makes it look like she's being so gentle.  LOL!! First she was exploring his ear with her finger and then started tugging on handfuls of hairs.  Hudson was like; "HEY, HEY, HEY!!"  However, he continued to lay there and when he'd squirm she'd do something different.  :)

Reid and Sophie are gone again today so Hudson stayed busy playing with the food toys, wrapping up some dolls, and putting the big blocks together (see picture) while waiting for Avi.  I put the blocks away at night in stacks of 5 each.  Hudson kept the stacks intact and then just pushed them together.  Well done Hudson!!  Then he continued to add more blocks.  I was impressed with his plan. Then when he was wrapping up the dolls he was saying/singing, "night night Baby, napping now..."

It really doesn't take much effort to change things up a little and for this age group it presents a whole new environment in which to play and explore.  I left the highchair in the Play Room until lunch time and the kids had a new place to play.  (Avi arrived late from swim lesson and I fed her a late breakfast.)   like the expression on Avi's face in the 1st picture below.   There are lots of "captions" you could write for this picture.  "Are you serious Hudson!!??!!  Your parents are doing WHAT!?!  That's weird!"   :)
